All costs below include GST, insurance and unlimited kilometres. The cheaper options do not include pick up and drop off from the airport as this proves to add to the expense. However A.Comm Rentals and Avis Manukau are a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. All costs are in NZ dollars. All rental companies stressed that February is a busy time for them as it is the peak season for overseas tourists visiting New Zealand. They recommend booking as soon as possible and a credit card number is required to secure a booking. Some rental companies require the driver to be over 25. A.Comm Rentals Costs for hiring a mini van is $65 per day for a 7 day minimum rental. A $500 bond is required. Vans include a Mazda Bongo, Toyota Hiace and a Nissan Caravan. Only 5 are available for rental. Avis Van Rentals A mini van from their Manukau outlet is $109 per day for a 7 day minimum rental. They rent Toyota Previa vans. Avis Airport Rentals A Toyota Previa rented from their airport depot is $103 per day plus an airport charge of $13.50 for a 7 day minimum rental. Greens Tristar Rental They rent Toyota Previa vans at $100 per day for a 7 day rental and will pick up and drop off at the airport.
