On day two the breeze was perfect varying between about 4 and 12 knots, ideal for team racing.  At the end of the round robin Kerikeri Club had 8 wins 0 losses followed by Mahurangi Red on 7 wins and 1 loss.

The top five teams Kerikeri Club,  Mahurangi Red, Kerikeri J, Mahurangi Blue and Westlake went into a gold league while Tauranga, Kerikeri Academy, Northcote and Whangarei went into a silver league.  In the gold league, Kerikeri Club remained unbeaten although there were some narrow wins to take first place. A three way tie existed for second between Mahurangi Red, Mahurangi Blue and Keri J all on two wins.  The tie was resolved by a triple round robin between the three teams on the Monday with Mahurangi Red winning with 5 wins ahead of Keri J on 4 wins.  In the silver league, Whangarei was triumpant in their debut team racing regatta.
